Oasis International Training Centre is a non profit organization located in Prampram, Ghana, West Africa, approximately one hour from the capital city of Accra. The Centre is an outreach of the Oasis of Love Churches with headquarters located in Shippensburg, PA, USA.
A BRIEF HISTORY
Our founder, Bishop Elvina E. Miller, D.D. First came to Ghana in 1952 before founding and building the Oasis International Training Centre, which was dedicated in November 2000.
Classes began in the beginning of 2001 with an emphasis on training pastors and leaders through Biblical studies. Shortly thereafter, other classes were added teaching academic, computer and vocational skills to assist students to secure a brighter future.
OUR MISSION
As a Training Centre, our goal has always been to train and to empower the Body of Christ to reach its full potential in God. We are excited to see the nations being reached as we facilitate a place for the transforming power of God’s Word to be spoken.
CURRENT OUTREACH
Recently OITC has partnered with Wise Master Builders’ International Network and Hadassah Company Fellowship International to host Conferences, Seminars and Retreats. The goal of these meetings is to bring growth, to change mindsets, and bring transformation to lives, ministries and churches. Delegates from Ghana, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Benin, Togo and other countries are receiving cutting edge truths that are changing their nations.
Most of the pastors who come are economically challenged. To come to these meetings is a huge sacrifice, yet they come with such joy and expectation. These pastors travel 27 plus hours in adverse conditions because they have such an appetite and hunger for the Word of God. We are praying for a way to help more leaders be able to attend the meetings.
